3 Rebates and Tips for doing Them

What are rebates?

::Buy an item, use a coupon, if you have one, pay for the item, submit for the full price of the item--is just one one to look at rebates.

::Another kind of rebate is buy an item, pay for it, submit for a free item rebate.

Some tips when doing rebates:
::Read the fine print before you shop. Make sure you know exactly what product you need to purchase and in what quantity to qualify for the rebate.

::Plan your shopping trip. If you’re planning to take advantage of more than one rebate offer, be sure to make those purchases in separate transactions so that you will have the original register receipts for each deal. Most companies will not accept copies.

::Use coupons to make rebate deals even sweeter.

::Make a copy of the completed rebate form and original receipt, for YOUR records.
