Save Money by Knowing When to Buy


If you have not jumped on the couponing train yet, you can still save money by knowing when to shop.

You need to be familiarize yourselves with the sale cycles. At this time of the year, Thanksgiving and Christmas we will find many baking items and Holiday items on sale---prices on these products will be at their lowest at this time of the year.

Here's a list of items that you will find on sale this Holiday season---this is only a list off the top of my head, so I may leave something out.

Holiday items:
Ham, turkey, instant potatoes, gravy mixes, rolls, pies, cranberry sauce, gelatin, marshmallows, nuts, Chex cereal, stuffing, nuts (shelled and in-shell), specialty cheeses, cider, hot cocoa and egg nog.

Baking items:
Flour, sugar, butter, cream cheese, cake, brownie and muffin mixes, nuts, pie crusts, marshmallows, and whipped cream

Produce:
Beets, carrots, celery, clementines, lemons, mandarins, oranges, satsumas, tangerines, cranberries, pomegranates, potatoes, sweet potatoes, winter squash

Canned foods:
Soup, broth, condensed and evaporated milk, vegetables and fruits, spaghetti sauce, pie filling, and yams

Thanksgiving Items:
With it being right after Thanksgiving, many stores will have buggies or one aisle of clearanced Thanksgiving items, but look through out the store to find better deals---From pot holders, dish towels, to candy and popcorn, to clothing, dishes and glasses anything with Fall or Thanksgiving  on the tag will be on sale.

Now is the time to stock up on these items! Just think of the savings and really think about the savings if you used coupons! Oy!
