Heath Bar Crunch Cake

Last week we celebrated three birthday in our home and all three of them wanted heath bar crunch cake for their birthday cakes.

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:
1 box of Chocolate Cake mix
1 jar of butterscotch or Carmel ice cream topping
1 tub of cool whip (if you like cool whip, you might want to buy the larger tub)
1/4 package of Heath candy pieces
1 Milk chocolate Candy bar---only buy this if your heath candies are the brittle only and no chocolate included.

Directions:

::Mix and bake cake mix according to the back of the package; as soon as it comes out of the oven poke holes in the top of it (you can even tear holes in it) and slowly pour the butterscotch or Carmel topping all over it.
*It helps if you remove the topping lid and microwave a few seconds to thin the topping out.

::Let Cake cool completely

::Top with as much cool whip as you like

::Sprinkle with heath candies

::Grate the chocolate bar all over the op of it.

::Refrigerate at least 3 hours--the longer it is able to sit in the refrigerator the better it is!

::Enjoy!
