You can get the Publix Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. Most stores require the penny item coupon found somewhere in today's paper.
The Penny Item is for the day that the sale's ad starts in your area. This is Wednesday for all of SC and AL, or Thursday for Northern GA.
Florida Publix stores do not participate in the Penny Item Promotion.
