Shampoo is Expensive, but not at CVS

Whew, I did a big No-No. I almost ran out of shampoo. I always have a stockpile of a few bottles, but I was down to only two bottles, one for our bathroom and one for our children's bathroom.

Earlier in the week I had taken advantage of the Procter and Gamble promotion at CVS; I received $10 in ECBs back to use on a future purchase. Since I needed shampoo, I decided to go ahead and use the ECBs now. Here's what I did....

I bought 4 Pantene shampoos for $3.49 each ( these were on sale--yikes!!)
I bought 1 CVS shampoo for $2.99
-used (1) $2 Pantene coupon from the PG Home Mailer
-used (3) $1 coupons form the 2/27 PG insert
-used (1) $1 coupon from the CVS coupon printing machine
**Paid with my $10 ECBs
Paid $1.89 out of pocket, not bad for 5 bottles of shampoo.
