Before sale, coupons and ECB's the items in the above picture would have cost me $109.50, includes tax!
I did three separate transactions, paid $16.91 for everything pictured above, ok lets round it up to $17! I walked out of the store with $13 in ECBs---so $4 for everything in the above picture.
Here's a couple of scenarios to start you out, you can see my other scenarios here, with the exception I bought Maalox instead of GasX. I also had a couple of BOGO Diet Coke coupons (no longer available).
Transaction #1
Buy 3 Maalox liquids (12oz) at $6.89 each
Use (3) $5 coupons from the 1/09 Smart Source insert
Paid $5.67 (does not include tax)
Get $10 in ECBs back! (So a $4.33 money maker)
(if you can find the small size bottles priced at $6.29 each, this would even be a sweeter deal, but they were all out when I went yesterday!).
Transaction #2
Buy (6) Pepsi 12 Packs, 3/$10 ($20 total)
Paid with $10 ECB from Transaction #1
Paid out of pocket $10
And Get back, $10.00 ECBs
.

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Swappin' Spoons! Years ago, I started this blog because I had asked for a Potato Soup recipe over on Facebook and 37 of my friends sent me a recipe for potato soup. 37! I instantly thought we needed a place to share recipes and immediately thought of starting a blog. I told my husband I needed a catchy name for the blog and he is the one that came up with Swappin' Spoons.
