Veteran’s Day Freebies: Outback, Krispy Kreme, Chilis and more

Per RedPlums Sweetfinds these restaurants will be celebrating Veteran's Day with some free food---read below.
.
Chilis: Veterans eat free at Chilis on November 11 as well. You can choose your free entree from a special Veteran’s menu when you show proof of military service. The deal is for dine-in only, and does not include beverages or tip. Call first to be sure your location is participating.
.
Golden Corral: They’re bucking the system a bit at Golden Corral, and offering their Veteran’s Day freebies on Monday, November 15 instead of on Veteran’s Day proper. For the tenth anniversary of their Veteran’s Day dinner they’ll offer a free meal from 5pm-9pm on Monday for anyone who has ever served in the United States Military. If you are a veteran, retired, currently serving, in the National Guard or Reserves, you are invited. Last year over 335,000 veterans and active duty military took advantage of the free dinner buffet and beverage. They’ll also be collecting for the Disabled American Veterans organization, which will be used by state and local chapters to assist veterans.
.
Outback Steakhouse: On Thursday Outback is giving away a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage to veterans and military personnel. You can select the beverage of your choice for your freebie—as long as it’s non-alcoholic. You’ll need one of the following forms of identification: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement, Veterans Organization Card.
.
Krispy Kreme: Again this year, veterans can head into a participating Krispy Kreme store to grab a free donut of their choice. Call your local outlet to be sure they are taking part in the promotion.
.
UNO Chicago Grill: At Uno you’ll get a free pizza or entree with the purchase of another entrée of equal or greater value on November 11. Simply show up in uniform, with a picture of you in uniform, or with your military or veteran’s ID and you’ll be in business!
