Georgia Aquarium is celebrating Everyday Heroes May 17-23, 2010. Join us May 22nd for the 2nd Annual Family Safety Day!
Georgia Aquarium, in partnership with a number of law enforcement and public safety agencies, is hosting the Second Annual Family Safety Day on May 22, 2010 in Georgia Aquarium's Oceans Ballroom.
 
With a special focus on child safety, the day will feature educational demonstrations with police, fire and public safety personnel and equipment.
 
Children can enjoy a 30-foot inflatable fire truck slide, and learn about fire safety from Smokey Bear. Kids can also get autographs and pose for photos with local mascots including McGruff the Crime Dog, Smokey Bear, Rex (Ready Georgia), Thrash (Atlanta Thrashers), Chopper (Gwinnett Braves) and Georgia Aquarium's own Deepo, Domino and Scooter!
