It's lunch time here, so I thought that I would update you about our healthy living and eating rituals that we are doing here.First off we joined a gym! This is something that I DID NOT want to do, because we always join and then never go----big waste of money! My husband stayed persistent and I am so glad that he did. I gave in and suggested to him to see if they would give us a deal---they did. Well at least I feel like that it is a great deal.
While I was fine with my 10 little things that I was doing on my own, I have to admit I am really loving the gym. The people are so nice, plus there are so many things to do there! The kids have their classes or we can all do things together.
From the first of the year I have lost 27 pounds! I am pretty excited about that. My husband has lost, well, a bunch more than me. I am so proud of him and so was his doctor.
We have incorporated a bunch of fruits and salads in our every day meals. We were just eating regular salads with our meals, or sometimes as our meals. So, on occasion, I will spice those "original" salads up with chicken, steak, grapes, or nuts (love nuts).
