Remembering 09/11

I have been asked several times today if I remember what I was doing eight years ago.

I had just returned home from dropping my children off at school. I turned on the TV and the first plane had already hit and no one was really sure how or why it hit, I remember as the news person was talking the second plane hit and everyone was in shock and soon after we were told that it was terrorists. I remember hearing news report after news report how this horrific act was making people think and how 'as a nation' we were turning back to God. I saw it as I am sure that you did too.

We lost no one in the events of that day and I THANK GOD for that, but so many people did. Fathers and Mothers went to work never to return home to their children. Sons and daughters doing their job only never to see their loved ones again.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the men and women serving that day to help find loved ones that went missing. A BIG THANK YOU to the men and women that served our country before that day and a BIG THANK YOU to all the men and women serving now so that we can live our lives in freedom! Our family prays for the military and leaders on this great nation daily. MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!
