The Wednesday Night Saga

Well it is Wednesday night and here I sit in front of my computer. It is late and way past my bedtime. I, being a wife and mom, have no set bedtime but it is almost midnight and I have to be up at 4:45 in the morning; therefore making it way past my bed time.
We went to church tonight and had a great time visiting friends and learning from God's word. We stayed around talking for a while after church while our children played in the gym. So finally it was time to leave. As we were getting into the vehicle we turned on the CD and all six of us started singing at the top of lungs like we normally do when we are riding down the rode. We have about a 30 to 40 minute drive from the church to our home....depending on who is driving, my husband or me! Well we made it in 29 minutes tonight...my husband was driving. Instead of coming home we pulled into County Market (our local grocery store). We do this every Wed. night. After church we ALWAYS go to the grocery store. What is up with that? Is there anybody else that goes to the grocery store EVERY SINGLE Wed. night after church. It is like a ritual that we do. Yes, it is on our way home from church, but we live only 30 seconds from the store so it is not like we live a long way aways from the store!

I did not mention to my husband about needing to go and he did not say anything to me about stopping. It is like our SUV has a mind of its own and automatically pulls into the grocer's parking lot.

My husbands always just smiles and says, "That he knows that I have some really good coupons and he figure that I would want to use them." He is always right!

I scored another big one tonight. I bought 27 items (meat included) and paid only $20.75. I had some fantastic cereal coupons. I cannot say enough good things about coupons. CLIP your coupons, PRINT out coupons, DOWNLOAD coupons onto your store card...USE COUPONS!

As I was paying for my items, I was chatting with the two ladies there, and they gave me a store coupon book. Every page has a coupon on it with a recipe....how cool is that! I was so happy to get that! I know the two ladies probably thought that I was crazy! I told them that I was going to go home to Blog about it, and here I sit blogging about it....and so the Wednesday Night Saga continues!

  1. And here's one of the ladies, commenting. Glad you enjoyed the coupons and can use them. Good customers like you make up for the not-so-nice ones. Thanks for always being cheerful and a sweetheart to us. Oh, and no, we don't think you're crazy!
