The Academic Planner: A Tool for Time Management

Does your student have trouble managing his or her time? Are homework assignments missed due to poor planning? Is balancing after-school activities and homework a struggle? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to get your child a planner---yes, a planner.

With the yearly academic planner, you or your child can plan classes, their homework and activities by the month and by the week. Days of the week are listed horizontally across the planner; which will help your child see their assignments and due dates for those homework assignments, plus they can also see those "Fun" activities too!

In the back of the planner is a vinyl pocket that can hold notes from friends, note cards, report cards and more!

Here are some of the details of this time management tool:

Weekly planner pages line up with the index on a subject-by-subject basis
Spaces to enter after-school activities and weekend commitments
Grid systems allows for both scheduled and available blocks of time at a glance
4 color cover designs--I really like the blue one I received!
Larger interior pages
Interior vinyl pocket to hold cards or notes
Three hole punched for easy insertion in binder
Durable cover
Based on the school year calendar

Another thing that I like about the planner is the notes pages. The notes pages are to jot down anything that you might need to remember for the month that is not date specific. Let’s say your son or daughter needs to remember that in November there will be a tryout for the Christmas choir, but they don’t know the date yet, they can make a note on the page. It really is the easiest planner I have come across so far and I have been homeschooling for 10+ years!
